Will Fowler

Hi! I'm Will. I'm a technical AI governance researcher currently working on building the data center tools that can verify compliance with future AI treaties and agreements.

I previously worked with MIT FutureTech on improving the AI Incident Tracker, a tool which uses LLMs to classify news reports of AI incidents.

In Spring 2025, I was a technical governance fellow at Pivotal Research where I worked on tracing the progress of decentralized training for LLMs.

This Summer, I will be a fellow at the UChicago Existential Risk Lab.

In May 2026, I graduated from Tufts University with a B.S. in Computer Science.

I love performing improv comedy and playing volleyball.
